People greatest desire is to survive, surpassed only by their need to be unique. There is no greatest feeling then the feeling of being higher than others, spiritually, educationally, etc and that is sad. In this cynical world Everyone want their values and believes to just, and the only way they can achieve that is if they find a value or believe that is different, and label it as Evil. Good and evil are just ideologies, just like democracy and republican. No matter what you believe in, it doesn't tell anything about your character, the only thing it reveals is that you believe in something, that's all. We should never be ideologue, but rather open minded to see the light from different point of view. You don't have to believe the different point of view, all you have to do is respect the other prospective and just let it be. Good and Evil is only good for one thing and that is to separate people.

Although I understand the question on its face, an opinion on the answer can only be drawn from one's perceptions of 'good' and 'evil', and all things associated with them.
Ask yourself this: Has there ever been a war fought where one side drew the "short straw" and had to be the 'evil' side?
No,... a human society strives for goals which will attain what is best for it; that is to say, what is 'good' for it. If this society crosses the path of another society, and their goals do not 'mesh', then each becomes 'evil' to the other (with the end result usually being the subjugation or demise of the less dynamic culture involved; a sort of 'social' survival-of-the-fittest, if you will).
"...One man's God is another man's Devil ---
and the Devil's name is 'Master'..."

I believe there is a spectrum, so to speak, where "good" and "evil" are concerned. One can not come without the other. Good for one person very often will come at the expense of another person, which to them may be perceived as evil. Evil may be misunderstood. When does something move on the sliding scale from bad to evil, and from "ok" to good? War, to those in the throes of it, is an evil thing to those who suffer at the expense of the fury or passion of others, but good to those who fight for the cause. Do they exist? Yes, or is it all circumstance?

Good and Evil are human concepts designed by us to lay a moral path. Check out Archimedes Table of Opposites, without good there can be no evil and vice versa.

Good is Love and God is Love. Evil is Rebellion and it is evil. Just look at the news.
(Gen 2:9) And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
(Gen 3:22) And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
NOTE: As One Of Us knowing good and Evil.
(Pro 14:19) The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
(Pro 14:22) Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth [shall be] to them that devise good.
(1Th 5:15) See that none render evil for evil unto any [man]; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all [men].
(Rom 13:3) For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
( Mat 5:45) That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
(Jhn 5:29) And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

There is no doubt whatsoever. Just look around at the world around us. The conflict between good and evil is being played out constantly, and is even intensifying.

I believe in the existence of evil. I saw it on the face of the man who kidnapped, raped and murdered Polly Klaus. At the end of his trial and he was asked if he wanted to say anything, he turned to her father and said "I killed her because she told me to not do her like her daddy did." The inference was that Polly's father had sexually abused her, which was never the case. The man did it to further torment a man who will live for the rest of his life thinking of his little girls last moments on earth. There was no reason for it, no purpose to it, it was simply and intentionally evil.

Yes I do. You see it in the papers. Homeless man finds wallet, returns it to owner. Guy kills three family members. See good and evil in the headlines everyday.

Yes I believe in the existence of Good and Evil.
You see it every day in the news and in life.
You see the good Samaritan that helps the needy and you see the evil person that steals, rapes, drugs (users and sellers) and a variety of other evils in this world.
I do also believe that good prevails.

There is GOOD and EVIL because of the fact that we have a conscience. It is the voice that says if what you are doing is right or wrong. Knowing there is a voice that tells you that there is something right and wrong, there must be a good and evil.
