I got an audition for a local play and im required to show some sort of special talent. i realized i cant sing, dance, do acrobatics or any other special talent that i could show them. does anyone have any suggestions for stuff to do in an audition if you have no special talents?

That would depend on the production you are auditioning for. If all else fails tell a funny story or joke. This will show how personable you are. I think that the special talent thing is just to show how well you do on stage.

Ummm...do something really quirky. Just anything to get their attention. Just pay extra attention to simple things you do and try to think up ways of expanding those into a talent...think Ms. Congeniality...when she played the water glasses.

That "Special Talent" is the ability to memorize and perform lines... go find a monologue that suits your age and personality....

I would say painting...that is a sure fire thing..paint whatever you dream of..that always works for me..there is not right or wrong answer to painting. Good luck! :) Sincerely, Erin R Young

i would memorize a minute long monolouge..just don't do one from a movie...look online, at the library, etc..
