Sit down over a nice dinner and very politely talk about her clothing. Then offer to go shopping for her. Tell her you will bring a few outfits home for her to try on and if they don't fit or work for her you will return them and continue shopping for her until you come up with a look that works for her. You have to remember though when you are shopping for her that you aren't shopping for a 15 year old it is for an adult so look around you at other mothers with the same shape as your mom and the things that they are wearing that you like. If she hates shopping as much as you say she does it probably isn't that she would mind changing her look it is probably more she doesn't want to shop for a new look which is something you could do for her. Good luck and just be kind when you are talking with her not to hurt her feelings or make her feel bad about herself. Just let her know that you want to help update her look.

Tell your mom how you feel. Say you feel kind of embarassed for her that she has to dress like that, and that you know she could look so much prettier. If that doesn't work, ask her to go shopping with you and go in a store that has cute stuff for women and say like "Oh, this would look REAAALYY good on you! Let's buy it!". For the makeup, go to like a makeup counter and you guys can both get your makeup done there. After a while she should notice how much better she looks and feels.

You could try just offering to go shopping for her, or just ask her what kinds of things she used to wear, and why she stopped wearing nicer things. tell her how you feel. maybe she just dresses that way because she has sacrificed so much for YOU that she feels like the way she looks just isn't important.

Enter onto a makeover show. There are professionals that can make her over & boost her self esteem. It sounds like she doen't have that much confidence and hides herself under big clothes.
Enter onto every show; Tyra Banks, Oprah, Style network etc....

Try to talk out her and try to take her on a shopping trip you and her by our self only. Show her clothes that fit her and that are fitting to her age. Tell her that sweatsuits and big t-shirts aren't always comfortable.

P.S: TRY TO GET REID OF THE SWEATSUITS AND BIG T-SHIRTS. :D

Only 5 more years and you're gone? What the hell kind of attitude is that to have towards your mother? She gave birth to you, sacrificed her own personal life for you, does everything for you and you want to criticize her for the way she dresses? What an ungrateful spoiled little ***** you are!!

Lol...it's okay. She's still your mom and I think she's more important that what people on the streets think about her clothing. Be happy!
