It's true that I'm a liberal, at least on some issues. I don't really care if you agree with my positions or not. I am wondering where you learned the word "brung" from, and why you think that all liberals believe in global warming. Since we are already in mid-August and there have been no catastrophic hurricanes in the US so far this year, it appears that it will be a calm year. Personally, I would rather wait another month before I made such a prediction. I think most scientists would agree that we are in a period of global warming - though it may be a natural result of a larger cycle and not due to man's influence. We should be mindful though. Why should we crap up our planet even more?

Weather is unpredictable and constantly changes. Hurricanes last year where pretty bad. This year is not over cause it goes till end of November. With global warming its not gona just go towards hurricanes. This year its been flooding in the north and east and droughts in the south and central US. It has gotten worse over the years its not just a drastic change like what most people assume. Last couple years in Louisiana we havent had a winter its been like 70degrees and a few times got below freezing. March when its sposed to be around 70 we had more freezes during that month than anyother previous months.
Global warming may or may not be a factor but its kinda obvious when the worlds population is increasing energy consumption is up andclimates are changing in parts of the world....Whats causing that then....

No hurricanes? the place are you from? there have been a minimum of seven hurricanes mixed interior the Atlantic Ocean interior the Gulf of Mexico this year on my own. there have been 6 final year for the comparable section. See the hyperlinks below for specifics on Pacific Hurricanes. I kinda agree that guy would have an element in it, yet i've got faith extra that the Earth is coming back to declare her very own. Hmmm, ask your self the place all those dinosaurs went? a results of world Warming? You be the decide. Cheers!

Hurricane seasons not over until November..So there's still plenty of time. And don't believe a word Bush says, he doesn't now jack about science, Try believing the scientists at the American academy of science, that say global warming is fact. These are some of the smartest people in the world, I think they know what there talking about.

First off, I don't think 'brung' is a word.
Second, I'm not sure why this is categorized as political.
Third, most hurricanes were caused by higher than normal tropical water temperatures. The simplest solution would be that the water temperatures are cooler this year.

They cant answer that cause you know and I know they are blowing smoke. I listened to a fellow a few months ago on CNN and because he made sense, they didnt go back to interview him any more.
He stated the earth is either going into and Ice Age, Or coming our of an Ice Age. Our last Ice Age was 8000 years ago so, naturally, the earth will warm and at some point, begin to cool as we head into the next Ice Age, which maybe a few thousand years out.
Of course, the tree huggers and liberals dont want to hear that. They want to scare us into beleiving we need to pump Billons into the environment to save the planet.
They cant tell us why before the indians, who fought all those wildfires in the woods, or who was dumping the toxins into the air.

Repeat a lie often enough and it will eventually be accepted as truth.
Libs refuse to acknowledge the proven cycles of weather and climate change.
Notice that they've replaced this whine with the one about the "hole" in the ozone layer. Once it was PROVEN that it enlarges and shrinks in a cycle, they gave up...
voila...the birth of the farce known as "global warming".

we had the ice age and now global warming it really wont matter cause it wont happen for 1000s of years. then the earth will throw us all off like lice or get sucked into the outer rings. but why not preserve what we can. so we have time to move to another plantet and then sling shot to another before we burn that one up...and so on and so on ........
