As a matter of fact yes. And I went to the hospital and checked myself in. Because I really didn't want to die...I just felt like I was a useless waste of human flesh. But I also knew that I must be seriously depressed to feel that way.
I got some help there and I currently take medication and go to therapy and I don't think that way anymore.
I hope that if you are feeling this way, you will do the same or something similar.
Please take care of yourself.
You ARE worth it!

Are you so unhappy that you want to die? or are you just asking?

In my humble opinion:
Over this last year I've been quite ill, but now as I get my strength back begin to notice the really good things in life from the small to the large, whether it be being able to walk accross the floor, go fishing or whatever is your thing.
Take time out to be inspired by others. Who are your heros? What drives you? What do you want to achieve?
Watch inspirational films like 'wonderful life', 'Jerry Maguire' etc.
Get a motivational book or CD, for example 'think and grow rich', 'how to win friends and influence people'.
Release the guilt, make the changes, and gain the reward. You are as important as anyone else on this planet.
I genuinely hope this helped.

Never. I've been unhappy many times, but instead of wanting to die, I made changes. I rose to the challenge of creating change for the better.

Being unhappy is an emotion that affects us all every once and awhile. We all have a choice, to focus on positive things or negative things. You sound like you are in a deep depression and can't seem to shake it. You need to find Hope that you can latch on to and that will bring you to where you need to be. Try to focus on small goals that will provide you with inspiration. It could be as small as getting out of the house and seeing a movie. Remember, when we are in depression, we are not relying on God to move on our behalf. Just say to yourself " I don't know how your going to get me out of this depression, Lord, but I know you have my best intentions in mind and I'm going to put my trust in you instead of relying on myself." Stop beating yourself up for the choices you've made, the things you haven't done, the person who broke your heart etc..... and start to experience life in God's fullness.

You are not unhappy - you are either lonely or taking the ---
If you are lonely, there are a lot of other lonely people around a well - just smile at them, and they may well smile back.
Ask the odd interesting question on here and you will get a lot of answers on things you are interested in.

Have you taken into consideration just how this would effect the people around you? They call this being selfish. Your loss would break the hearts of people who love you and just because you are unhappy, you have no right to cause those around you the heartache of death for the rest of their lives.

No, if you kill yourself ,you will be the only loser, because you never gave yourself the chance to know how things can change for the better in a no time, and how good life can be. Don't shortchange yourself, live life to the fullest, inspire of hardships, which everyone endures from time to time.
