Yes, if they do a Federal background check. If they do a state, it probably won't.

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Change your middle name on the application, but you can get fired for lying. It's a conundrum. My old boss was on America's Most Wanted, she just used a phony name. That was really scary, but I reported her anonymously and she was finally apprehended, you will be too!
