Be consistent. Kids need rules and structure. If they know what is expected and what will happen when they don't follow the rules - and it is the same set of rules and the same consequences every day - then there is a much greater chance they will behave.
That's about all I can say without more details.
BTW -This is really hard to do!! She will need lots of moral support in trying to pull this off.

i dont have a kids but i can advise u cuz i see a lot of people the same, i think the best way to learn your kids how to behave in a good and polite way and some easy way.
one of them that u must learn them by let them to see how u behave with the other people cuz they are consider you as a mirror to them so ay thing u do they will try to do the same. the other way is u must try to mixed them with the other people like taking them with u and meet a new people and making them to know how to make the people love them.
sorry maybe it is not a good idea but i just want help u and this what i can do to you.
take care xxx

Watch the show. Its really not that hard though, all they have to do is realize that they are the parents and the child is the child. You make the rules and you make the consequences for disobeying the rules and you stick to them. Really just common sense. I can't figure out what has happened to people these days!!! What on earth gives anyone the idea to let these children run them?

Do they need your advice or do you need to advise? You raised your kids. Let them raise theirs. If the kids are at your house....it's YOUR house, you make the rules in your domain. You'd be surprised at how a kid will change in an environment that won't tolerate bad behavior. In their house, you can only advise if ASKED for advice

Tell your kids to do what you did to make them behave. If that doesn't work then let them be and sit back and enjoy the chaos

what you need is a belt, confidence in your self righteousness, and the will to set your foot down. my dad set me right, no reason why i should brake the traditional beat the kids till they learn
