I saw a car the other day ,it was not an unmarked police car, that had 5 antennas on the back windshield.The one antenna in the middle was very large. I get an antenna for better radio reception etc.....but it intrigued me why 5 and why one so very very large.....The 4 people in it did not look like security types etc... and although I am no car expert ,it was not an overly expensive or really new car.

it could be alot of things. there are radio antennas, there are CB radio anntennas, there are those cell-phone boosting antennas, there are global positioning system antennas, and there are ham radio antennas. it could be that the person just so happened to have all of those in his car at the same time. i myself have two very large white antennas on my truck, along with a small one one the roof, plus my regular radio one. but i only use them for my CB radio, so i can talk to the truckers.

Ham Radio operators have a fetish about antennae. One will suffice usually, and in a lot of new cars none fits the bill. May CB radio buffs have two, but that is supposed to double the ability to transmit or receive signals.

The big one was probably for a CB, one for the radio. The others I have no clue lol. Maybe they are trying to contact outer space or something lol.
