Favorite Goo Goo Dolls Song?

The Goo Goo Dolls are one of my favorite bands and i just wanted to know what some favorite songs of thiers are, besides Iris. that's one's kind of considered a given, even though i think its kind of overrated.

Name from A Boy Named Goo.

It was their first big hit going to the top 5 on the pop charts and #1 on the rock charts. The song came about "quite accidentally," according to lead singer Johnny Rzeznik. He says that he came up with the songs' tuning, D A E A E E, while he was sitting on his couch aimlessly twisting the tuning pegs on his guitar. He said "I didn't even know what notes they were so I used a guitar tuner so find out then I jotted them down on a post it." He says that he wrote it as a love ballad, reflecting his childhood as an orphan.

A Boy Named Goo became the first album in Metal Blade history to achieve double platinum status. Their mainstream success, however, was bittersweet as they faced a lengthy legal battle with Metal Blade Records over royalties that were being withheld from the band; hence, the Goos eventually switched to Metal Blade's parent company, Warner Brothers. In addition, many of the fans the Goo Goo Dolls had at the time felt they had sold out to garner commercial success. The undisputed success of "Name" marked a fundamental change in the band's sound toward a more polished, commercial direction. Iris is an evolution of the sound first developed in Name.
