Bromelain is just a dietary supplement. There are numerous other treatments for carpel tunnel syndrome.
A comprehensive treatment plan for CTS may include a range of complementary and alternative therapies.

Nutrition
Use of vitamin B6 supplements (50 to 200 mg a day) for up to 3 months provides patients with pain relief and increased function in 85 percent of cases. B-complex may be used as an adjunct to B6. The following nutrients may have an anti-inflammatory effect: essential fatty acids (1,500 to 3,000 mg a day), and curcumin (250 to 500 mg) and bromelain (250 to 500 mg), both taken between meals. Lipoic acid (100 mg twice a day) can help reduce swelling. Modifying your diet to reduce or eliminate saturated fats and fried foods will also decrease inflammation

Bromelain is found in pineapple. It is known to act somewhat as a natural anti-imflammatory. I have used a product called "PSI daytime" (contains bromelain) that didn't work quite like aspirin, but it did help curb the swelling. I forget what other ingredients were in there but the product wasn't cheap. Try eating some pineapple (fresh is best) first and see if it helps.
But the first poster is correct. Treatment of CTS requires more than a simple supplement. Personally for me what has worked is deep-tissue bodywork (Hellerwork), chiropractic and VERY important, daily stretching specific to the issues of CTS.
I highly recommend Sharon Butler's site, see below. Also, feel free to email and I can tell you more specifics about what helped me recover from my CTS.

Don't know but this might
Massaage BOTH hands arms and shoulders with
10 drops marjoram essential oil
10 drops lavender essential oil
10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
diluted in 30 mls vegetable oil (almond, or grapeseed if allergic to nuts)
This was the first aromatherapy blend I ever made for anyone and I was so impressed that I took up the subject seriously.
It might cost getting all these oils but they last a long time. Alternatively, I will post you some for £3 inc p&p

Not sure, why don't you try it and see if it makes any difference. I had carpal tunnel syndrome and the only thing that worked for me was surgery.
