How do you convince your husband to brush his teeth? My husband is 29 an brushes his teeth like 1 time a year, 2 if I'm lucky. I've stopped kissing him a LONG time ago because of it. he has lost 4 back molars and 1 on the top side. I turn my head when he tries to kiss me and when he wants to kiss during inimacy it makes me cringe. I love him but he won't brush his teeth. Family members have started commenting on how gross his teeth look and it doesn't phase him HELP! I don't want to go through life never being properly kissed ever again!!!!!

I have asked him to brush, I have offered to set up a dentist appointment, and I have witheld the bedroom activity. I have also pointed out the issue of dentures. NOTHING seems to phase him. He even has 2 tongue rings tht are all yucky too. Makes me cringe just thinking about it. YUCK!

Put on something sexy walk up with your hands behind your back and tell him to close his eyes and open his mouth. When he does stick the tooth brush in and walk to the bedroom.

Well you can't force him to brush his teeth but you're an awfully good wife to put up with that crap for so long. He must have some sort of underlying problem to let this go on til to the point of his teeth rotting out. He needs some serious professional help, like a psychiatrist.

Ultimatum. He brushes his teeth which definately isn't asking too much or you move on with your life and find a man who will brush so that you can have many wonderful kisses. That's just gross! Why doesn't he brush his teeth?

Explain to him that you love to kiss and really miss kissing him but you don't kiss him because he doesn't brush his teeth. When he talks to you tell him his breath stinks. I know it's rude but sometimes we have to be brutally honest. Comment on how white other people's teeth are. When you describe someone, mention they had nice breath or nice teeth etc. Buy him a tooth brush and floss. Force him to go to the dentist. His lack of dental hygiene can cause oral diseases, oral diseases can be spread to you via kissing. Also, I heard (can't say if it is true but seems reasonable to me) you can get a yeast infection if your partner has bad dental hygiene and performs oral sex on you.

My goodness woman that is just not right. If he does not want to brush his teeth get him to chew gum. I don't understand how a man of 29 ignores brushing his teeth. I don't feel right if mine are not brushed and flossed. If you love him and he loves you just tell him that he must brush his teeth.

Take him to the dentist - have ALL of his teeth pulled - get dentures, and when he takes them out at night brush them for him!

Tell him how much more "sexy" he is going to be with a full mouth of clean teeth, not to mention the bad side effects of gum disease, pyorrhea, bad breath, tooth decay and a plain-ugly toothless mouth. Does he care about his overall personal appearance otherwise? He should, his life depend on it!

Get yourself some special FX tooth make up (like in Pirates of the Caribbean) make sure you keep those teeth in his face until he demands that you brush......now you've got him where you want him.

sit him down and let him know that it is not only disgusting but also very unhealthy for him not to brush his teeth. Ask him how he would feel if you stopped bathing altogether, good luck.

Go shopping for bathroom stock and buy him a new toothbrush. Or buy a flavoured toothpaste, rave about how nice it is and suggest he tries it?
Or get a picture of you and him together with big toothy smiles, seeing it in comparison may get the ball rolling
