I do things to manage stress daily instead of waiting for it to get out of hand. Exercise helps a lot, and as long as you don't to it too late in the day, it helps with sleep too. The most helpful stress reducers for me are a healthy diet (sugar and caffien aggravate stress) and meditation. I also do a little progressive muscle relaxation and deep breathing. If I have the patience for it, spending an hour stretching can be relaxing too.
Being well organized, having a good routine, and being assertive and expressive help as well.

Go to the bar, play some good music on the jukebox and drink a beer (or 2 or 3).

I usually turn my music up really loud in my room, slam the door to let my parents know im mad, then scream out the words to every song, even the songs i dont know the words to.

Get a big cup - fill it half way with crushed ice, fill it with half 3/4 diet pepsi, and 1/4 regular pepsi and have fun with yahoo answers!!

I have kids so this is a daily thing for me. I go to my room and tell them not to knock on my door unless someone is bleeding.In ten minutes I'm ok
