Why should US or Israel have the nuclear weapons then ?
Israel is in violation of most UN Resolutions !!!
UN has asked again and again for a nuclear free middle-east .... but Isreal has not complied.
One must remember that US is the only country that has ever used nuclear weapons. The reason that we now hear is that the Japanese were crazy and could not be stopped otherwise. Bunch of crap.
One must also remember not to have double standards. Why not ask the countries of the world to get rid of their nuclear arsenols before we tell others not to make any.
Also, dont judge others. Dont believe the media. They get paid millions to say stuff that they say.
Spread LOVE & PEACE ... not Hate & War !!!

well here is the thing the UN needs to make sure that no nation builds uranium enrichments!! what example is the united states setting by having nuclear warheads and no other nation is allowed to?? tell me!!! Iran might apporve of Hezbollah, but that doesn't give any nation with nuclear war heads the right to disarm anyone!!! first America needs to disarm before they can start hunting other people's asses for using nuclear heads!! it just doesn't work out like that!! if we have war heads then we should be able to deal with Iran having war heads!! Its not right that uranium a limited and valuable resource is being used for war rather than fueling the homes of American's that are having power shortages!!

Tough call... will they allow 24 hour on site UN observers of their programs? Will they agree to the nuke anti-proliferation acts? I'm happy to see a country develop it's services for the benefit of its people; free electrification to every home everywhere is something I believe we ought to be moving toward worldwide, but I'm certainly against development of nukes for military use. We (the world) already have enough maverick countries with nuke weapons development programs... another loose cannon would be way too many for the ship to stay afloat on an even keel. It would require the call for strong military intervention by the United States to arrest the progress of an irresponsible and disagreeable nation such as Iran is in order to insure the safety of the Middle East and perhaps the world. That's what we're armed for...that's why we keep nukes ready and that's why we demand reasonable agreement from countries wishing to develop nuclear programs. ((( r u randy? )))

Absolutely not.... Its a given they will make and use nuclear weapons against Israel sooner or later, and no matter how you feel about Israel you should realize that the price of gas is tied directly to the level of political stability in the Middle East. What do you think will happen if anybody sets of a nuke in the region?? Eighteen dollars a gallon, that's what!! Does anybody really want that? Think about it!

why not? they wouldn't be the first.
Least we forget. Only one nation has used nuclear weapons on civilians. Perhaps the UN should put pressure on those who have developed and are actively developing nukes rather than focusing on one pathetic nation that would be years away from creating functional weapons anyway, even if thats what they are up to.

if we can and other capitalist countries why can't they. I'm not saying I want them with nuclear weapons but if they can then why not. We can't rule the world and tell everyone what to do. If we tried we would fail just like every other great empire.

i dont think iran should be able to have fire crackers by the looks of their president. The guy's a crazy (insert 5 swears here) dude who knows less about history and politics than I do. All he wants is fame, money and to do what his mommy told him to do when he was born: to destroy israel

You're joking, right? They have a 'religion' that 'justifies' war if any one of them just *feels* that it's 'justified'; so letting them have nuclear arms to blow the whole world up if they just 'feel' like it is not a great idea. Do they even want them; or do they like relative peace?
