Savoring the anticipation of the outcome.
I don't know that the longest game in the world is, but I've heard of games of Go going on for weeks.

The are so many sports that aren't timed!!! Which means the length of the game depends on individual/team gameplay. Some examples are baseball, volleyball and tennis. These games could go on indefinitely, theoretically.

The Chinese game of "Go" is the longest one I know of. Chess can take virtually forever with 10 to the 24th power of possible moves. It's all about testing your mind against an opponent of equal or greater skill... bragging rights, I guess.

Tag. How do you know when it ends? All you do is try getting the other person, and there's no winner or loser, so how do you know when the game really truely ends?
