You can wax as much or as little as you want.
It does hurt, especially the first time you wax (the first time is more painful for everything, it seems). To keep your legs completely smooth, you'll need to re-wax every three weeks or so. The more often you wax, the softer and finer the newly grown hair will be, so it gets easier to remove. It also helps if you moisturize your legs with those soy-based moisturizers -- they really do help limit hair growth.
My experience has been that waxing gives me much smoother skin than shaving. I do recommend paying a professional to do the initial waxing. That way you can see the way they apply the wax and remove it. Should you decide to try it at home later on, you'll have a better idea of how to do it.

OK! I've done waxing before. Like about 3 times before.
It's your choice weather or not you wan't to wax your armpits too. I'd rather you not because that place is a REALLY sensitive spot and it will really hurt under there.
You usually wax them whenever you want. But it's best to start waxing when the hairs on your legs or under your armpits are short. I heard from the people who wax my legs that it will hurt more if the hair is longer. So I would say about a few days after the hair starts growing back, go back and wax again.
Well it hurts a little bit, but when you wax a few more times, it won't hurt as bad. On my first wax, my mom told me to take some tylenol or some motrin or advil so that it will numb the pain a bit. But if you don't want to do that, bring something you can squeeze. Like a stuffed animal or a squeeze ball. (Whatever you do, don't squeeze an arm!).
DON'T SHAVE because it will grow back thicker and more often! But waxing could give you TEMPORARY red bumps, but won't last long. Don't wash your legs for 12 to 24 hours. Waxing is SO MUCH BETTER because it actually takes the roots of the hair out of under your skin. And don't listen to what people say about shaving is better because your legs are actually smoother when you wax. Don't use any creams because they can irritate you!
Oh and go to a professional! They will know what they're doing (not saying that you won't)!

Waxing is the best choice you could make! Don't wax your armpits though, you probably will never feel a pain like that and you will have to repeat it many times to get rid of the hair. It doesn't hurt as much to wax your legs if you use the aloe moisturizer that comes in the kits... Go to a proffessional for the first time

Waxing hurts! But it is worth the pain. You can wax around every 2-3 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows. You do not need to wax your armpits unless you want to! You wax what you want :)

NO you don't have to wax them both together. You could do one or the other at your own preference.
People like to say that removing hair makes a woman more feminine but the fact is body hair IS feminine because it's there naturally.
Removing body hair and saying it's feminine to do so is purely a cultural construct. The trend in American culture was started in the 1920s.
What if the majority of society decided that removing one breast made women more feminine? I admit that is much more drastic than removing hair but the point is that here is something that is part of a woman's sexual maturity that devoloped during puberty and is a sign of femininity. Removing doens't make her more feminine but less so.
Body hair is not strictly a masculine domain because both men and women develope it during puberty and continue to have it iin adulthood.
Now, having a full amount of facial hair you could say is completely masculine or on the other hand having mammaries (boobs) is completely feminine.
But women removing body hair does not make them more feminine but makes women look not sexually mature by taking away from some of their natural femininity.
Though people will continue to beleive that taking removing body hair makes women more feminine because that's what they are told through their culture. If they really thought about it objectively they probably wouldn't think that taking away a sexual signal of a mature adult woman would make her seem more feminine.
Thanks for the question!

There is a formula that helps you wax your legs. It is a type of cream found in local drugstores. Just apply the cream, wait 5-10 mins and then wash it off. The hair just comes off like that.
