One of my favorite heavy bands from back in the day is Glassjaw. Check out either of their CDs - "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence" or "Worship and Tribute". Great great stuff. The lead singer is Daryl Palumbo from Head Automatica, but you would never guess it.
