Prove that astrology is true!?

Question

Usually people look up their sign by their birthday but what if it's the other way around? Would you guess what sign I am by telling you that I am assertive, quiet, and determined? <_< If you can't guess it correctly then isn't astrology misleading?

Astrologer's can get around their inaccuracies by saying something about where certain stars were during a person's birth of other factors...that is why is a pseudoscience...it cannot be proven before a fact but only after.
heck, but I would guess U were a Capricorn..lol

No, I wouldn't say astrology is misleading exactly. I would say that it is very general when you are just talking about sun signs like Capricorn. If you want more specific information that narrows down what makes you special as an individual, then you have to take into account birth time and birth city. In other words, you would need a chart done that shows how the planets aligned at the time of your birth. Anyway, based on the simple characteristics you mentioned, I'd say you were an earth sign, meaning a Capricorn, Virgo or Taurus. What also leads me to this is your question, which shows that you are very practical and find metaphysical stuff basically a lot of nonsense. I've been into astrology for a while and my guess is that you are a Capricorn. Of course, if you are not an Earth sign then you probably have quite a few planets in Earth signs, but it would be hard to prove since you will most likely never have a chart done. Oh well.

Yes, but it's not the "other way round" and astrology isn't a guessing game. So the premise of your question is illogical.

For anyone who would seriously like to find out whether astrology works, then why not either have your birthchart cast and interpreted by a skilled astrologer or buy a couple of books and teach yourself how to erect your own chart. There are lots of books written by very adept writers on Astrology and Cultural Astronomy that will help in your translation of the information.

I have studied and practiced astrology for 30 years, and I know it works. Of course, everyone has their choice, but I think it's always better to become knowledgeable about a subject first before making a judgement.

Would you post a link to where you found this evidence? Astrology has been around for a long,long time but never had much credit with the scientific community what has changed to give it some merit. I enjoy Astrology buy it is a self fulfilling destiny you see in it what you want and you subconsciously help it to become true.

Certainly Astrology is not misleading.

If you had studied Astrology as I have, for years, you would know that you and everyone else are more than just a Sun sign!

People are multifaceted in their personalities and Astrology reflects that. Sun sign horoscopes do not.

You are more than just your Sun sign. You have a Moon and all the rest of the planets. You have an Ascendant (mask, approach to the world) and a Midheaven (reputation, status).

Your Natal chart is based upon date, place and exact time of birth, not just date of birth.

The planets are placed in signs and then in houses and aspects between those planets are calculated. All this and much, much more must be looked at and interpreted.

Things to look for in a Natal (birth) chart reading:

Your Ascendant, your MC
Your 10 planets in signs
Your 10 planets in the 12 houses
The interplanetary aspects between the 10 planets and points (Asc & MC), Vertex (destiny), North Node, South Node and Chiron.

What is the elemental emphasis in your chart - fire, earth, air and water?

What is the modality emphasis in your chart - cardinal, fixed, mutable?

What is the house emphasis in your chart - Angular, Succedent or Cadent?

What is the Northern/Southern hemisphere emphasis?

What is the Eastern/Western hemisphere emphasis?

What aspect patterns do you have in your chart: grande trine, kites, grand square, t-square, yods, mystic rectangles, grand sextile, etc.

Do you have Mutual Recepetion in your chart?

Is there an unaspected planet? An elevated planet? Where is the chart ruler in the chart and what aspects does it make?

Are there any intercepted planets and/or signs in the chart? Are there linked houses in the chart?

What signs are on each of the 12 house cusps? Where are the planetary rulers of each house placed and what aspects do they make?

If you have closed your mind to it why should we open your mind ?
I don't feel I have to prove anything to anyone I just like to see how the mind can open for some.
So many things can make a person personality more then just Astrology.
Your parents can mold you to be who your are, then it is yourself to be who you want to be !

There are alot of Possibilitys in your birth chart that can produce that rather vague result. not to mention the first thing a person can usualy guess is your ascendent (thats given they dont know the true you) and not your sun sign.

I challenge you to prove its not true. learn it learn how they get certain results and then prove it wrong.

But if i would have to guess Scorpio.
