PS3 or the Wii?

It's a hard decision for me. Please help me find out which one of them is better in prices and quality(graphics and all). Also, i need to know which has more "kid-friendly" games. I have 4 younger siblings, oldest(below me) being at nine, so please help!

If u have 4 young siblings you should go with the wii because they have Mario games with are great for children and people of all ages and the PS3 don't have as much kid friendly games.but graphics wise their both good prices wise if u want 2 put out 500 to 600 dollars for a PS3 go for it but the Wii may be less

Well, I can tell you right now, that the PS3 won't have the kid-friendly games that you may be approaching. The Wii will have many kid-friendly games (ex. Rayman 3) The Wii will also have a much lower price tag ($250) The PS3 will be $500-$600. The PS3 will have the better quality graphics. ALso it doubles as a Blu-ray disc player, which costs $600-$1000, so it will save you money if you want to do that. If i were you, i might go with the Wii.

well nintendo wii will be cheaper and will have all the mario, zelda, super smash brothers,donkey kong, games out. Which are kid games and they also come out with mario party, mario golf, mario tennis which can be up to 4 players for kids. More fun for kids and it will be out sooner than the playstation 3 kid games. Most of sonys kid games are 1 player. Nintendo Wii's graphics are only going to be a step ahead of xbox graphics so playstation 3 graphics will look much better. I would get wii "first" for surebecause playstation 3 is going to cost a lot of money on launch i think $499 20 ghz and $599 60 ghz. The Wii will be $199.00 - $250.00 i think. Also the great playstation 3 games wont come out tell late 2007 - 2008 so the system price will drop by then. There are certain games that only come out for that certain system(exclusives)

So if anyone isnt looking for the playstation 3 exclusives such as killzone
metal gear solid, devil may cry, final fantasy,god of war, tekken
grand tourismo, ratchet and clank and more.

then get wii for sure which will have its own exclusive games such as mario,metroid, zelda, donkey kong, super smash brothers, and
more.

Playstation 3 and nindendo wii will both have mature and kid games. Its just that nintendo will have more kid games and the playstation 3 will have more mature games. Take a look at these videos and decide for yourself

Cost- Wii is going to cost about half of the PS3
Kid-friendly Games- Probably Wii with Mario, Sonic, Spongebob
Graphics- PS3 hands down.

I'm going with the Nintendo Wii over the PS3. I'm not going to get a PS3 until it impresses me. Wii already has, so I'll be there day of launch to get it.

i would say the wii by graphics but i dont like the controller so maybe the ps3 would be a good idea

X-Box for me and Gamecube for the kiddies. I don't see the need to upgrade yet.
