Please help, im ugly?

my best friend know as cali_92021 is the most popular girl in school, she is pretty, smart, and talented, and im just... ugly. I am considered a dork. I feel like she is only my friend becuaes i dont have any, although we have been friend for 9 and a helf years. I`m ugly, HELP! ! ! ! ! !

I'm ugly too. But I have a great education (looks weren't part of the college admissions process), a great job (looks weren't part of the hiring process), and I have a wonderful wife and son (who have apparently overlooked my looks somehow).

I don't really think it matters, your attractive friend may tell you that good looks are a handicap sometimes.

If you think you're ugly, it's only because you've convinced yourself of it...honestly, how many times has someone called you ugly? Believe, I know what it's like to grow up with a best friend who is gorgeous and blonde--but blondes aren't the only beauty out there. I don't care how kind she is, she wouldn't have been your friend for nine years if you were just a dork.

If you don't want to feel ugly, do things that make you feel beautiful. You can work on your appearance if you want to, but I find the things that make me feel most beautiful are the things that I do for others...like being a good friend who's there to listen to someone else's problems..participating in team sports where I'm a part of a bigger effort...volunteering, like at the local animal shelter, or with neighborhood kids or something.

Beauty's on the inside, hon. If you feel ugly on the outside, maybe you're just not letting the nice stuff on the inside come out.

I highly doubt you are as ugly as you say hun. Try to realize the things you have or can do that she cant or doesnt have, find out what is your specialtality. Wear makeup that brings out your best features,in fact, focus on your best features. Lioke your hair wear your hair in different styles and start a trend. Put your hair half up and put a cute ribbon in it. Put your hair up in a pony tail then tie a ribbon to wear the not is facing forward, then rotate the ribbon to where the knot is now facing the back of you. Then let your hair loose from the pony tail so it looks like a cute head band. Shop at American Eagle, Abercrombie,or Hollister. American Eagle has alot of sales all year long. Remember your friend isnt just pretty, she is also good on the inside and that makes her stand out more. Focus on whats inside then work your way out.

u shouldn't think or say that ur ugly no matter what, always think positive about Ur self. try some thing new like, get a new hairstyle, some new clothes, new shoes, ask ur mom could u wear makeup or do something that will help u feel better about ur self. Ask ur popular friend can she give u a makeover and tell her ur problem maybe she can let u borrow some of her stuff. Don't think ur ugly because there is some one in this world that thinks ur beautiful.

I doubt you're ugly, and rather just suffering from the normal teen anxieties. Rather, it's your self-confidence that needs to be worked on.

Look at yourself in the mirror, and for every bad thing you think about yourself, think something good. What's important is that you can see what needs improvement, but love yourself anyway for the things that you like about yourself. It can be something as small as the way your hair curves, or as important as your body shape. For every thing you have, another person wants it.

I'm sure that once you realize you truly are beautiful and unique, you'll feel better, and perhaps you'll end up being the popular one. ^_^

Wat do you consider UGLY! In the majority of cases, most people will have an individual opinion of another, even the most popular person maybe considered ugly in some aspects, NO ONE IS PERFECT. The way you perceive yourself is the way you will portray yourself. Why look at the negative side of yourself, look at the positive side. And if worse comes to worse try and improve you appearance, you don't have to be qualified in beauty therapy to sort yourself out. It's all down to you, your the only one who can change the way you feel and look.

you only think ur ugly becaz of ur friends popularity and that makes you feel lesser nobody is perfect i'm sure your a beatiful gurl all a girl every needs is a high self esteem you could look like a rat but someone out there probably thinks your a beatiful swan....a touch of make up and a nice set of clothes is wat makes a girl pretty and thats superficial true beatuy is inside and i'm sure you have something that your BFF doesnt have... think about that

you know what? you are only ugly if you think you are. who cares what everyone else thinks? you won't be successful and happy in life if you try to please everyone. it's ok to be smart. when the popular people @ school work @ McDonalds for a living you won't be sorry. count yourself lucky. you have one really good friend. try to make some more. it's not hard.

now i bet you are not ugly, but you just have self-esteem issues, so you should try to be more outgoing, make some other friends and consider whether you want to be best friends with this girl if she makes you feel worse about yourself

I doubt you are really THAT ugly. Everyone is beautiful in their own way, and people shouldn't judge you by your looks. Have you ever tried makeup? Some people look a lot better when they wear some :)
