If you accept a salaried position, that means if you work 40 hours or 80 hours you get the same pay. Unless its in writing that you will get overtime, you wont. Depending on your states minimum wage law, figure out 160 hours a month at minimum wage and if you accept that (which I wouldn't) they wouldn't be breaking the law. So if your accepting this job, figure out how much YOU want to be paid a hour, you already have figured the overtime, calculate it, and don't accept any less

"Salary" by definition usually means you don't get overtime. So you'd expect to work [(5 x 10) x 4] + 20 hours a month, which is 55 hours a week on average. The salary would depend entirely on what the work actually was!

Sounds like a mortgage underwriting position $65k a year(Could also be Insurance Underwriting $60k a year or Medical Underwriting $80k a year).

It would depend how much you want the job, will it aid you in your future goals. I would take a $40,000. pay cut if it would later help me with my future plans.

Good Luck

Wages vary according to what city you live in and what the job responsibilities are but in my city if they paid me $40,000 a year for a job with similiar responsibilities that I have now I would accept it. I currently make $30,000
