Go to the mall and head to a store like Macy's, Dillard's (whatever large department store is in your town) and head for the make up counters. My personal favorite is Clinique; they helped with a make over for my wedding this summer. They will give you great ideas about what colors look good on you and will give you looks for day and night. Don't worry about buying anything from them (super expensive); just remember the colors they recommend and head to Target, Walgreen's, etc.
Good luck.

ookkkk, you DO need a change. In my opinion, that combo is a huge NO. Pink lipstick: worn in the 70's, and only black eyeliner sometimes makes you look washed out. I have no problem with cover-up, but I do think you should change it up a lot.
Eyes: go with a lite amount of black eyeliner, and add some black mascara to your eyelashes for a cute, less washed out look. Also try adding some light pink, nude, eye shadows.
Lips: go with a pink LIPGLOSS...it comes out A LOT clearer and less dramatic. I know you might like the lipstick, but lipstick tends to come out darker and brighter then first intended by the user. You want to go with the suttle look by using lip glosses such as the light pink I suggested.
Cheeks if Desired: Use a lite peach or rose on your cheeks. Apply in upward strokes on your cheek bones with a large brush.
good luck and I hope this helped.

Try putting on mascara and pressed powder, and contour your face with some blush. That should really make a difference in how you look. Go to a good make-up store or a counter at a department store so that the salesperson can help you learn how to put it on if you don't know how. If you buy their product, they will probably put it on for you for free the first time.

Try using eyeliner just on top above lashes....little blush and go darker on the lips
Get 3 cordinating colors of eyeshadow...experiment with which technique looks better
try using different color eyeliner
look through your favorite magazine and copying some of the make-up looks in it and seeing which you like best.
one more thing....they have these virtual make-over sites now...free....that you can upload your own pic and try different hair and make-up on...it is so fun

get rid of foundation use light concealer and a translucent powder(less likely to clog up pores) CG lip glosses are smooth and not to sticky...use dark purple eyeliner or maybe army green or or grey/silver to brighten eyes...i dont care who you are try to stay away from turqoise and bright blue...it usually just looks tacky.....a cream blush will smooth better and look natural and stay away from white eyeliner or anything that resembles it ...uunless you are in 7th grade you might be able to get away with it but i doubt it

play it up with some shimmery shadows. Depending on your eye color you can get a cool look:
Blue/Green: purples, pinks, metallic blacks, dark blues
Brown: greens, teals, golds
Start experimenting. Go to a dept. store and have them do a makeover on you, most places it is free.
Good luck
