Absolutely. My daughter has a fear of being taken away from me by monsters, and she asks me how I would feel if she was gone ... I hate it when she does that, because I want to cry even contemplating her not being with me.

Yes actually I did and some times i would have these mad thoughts after watching the news and I would just start crying cause i couldn't bear the thought of not being with him.
I'm not with that person now because he decided to go a different route with his life and i wasn't going to ruin my life for him. I loved him very very much but the end of the day your live is more important.
What you feel now will not always be there.
I hope it does work out for you.
All the best.

Thank god nothing did when he returned home safely from being in Iraq. But in the long run he broke up with me so hey he did leave but it all good because I am better person without him

Yes. I can't fathom anything happening to my 2 adult daughter's, or, my new Granddaughter. I had a beautiful favourite sister who I loved so much, she was taken away 6 yrs ago. We used to joke about death, as we lost our parents at a real young age. Three weeks before she was murdered, we spoke on the phone, and I said, I hope I go before you, because I could never live without you. I don't know why I said that to her, and my life has changed drastically..........so I focus on the positive, and just hope nothing happens to my girls.

Well it does whenever they exit youre life after spending so much time with them and growing into a routine with them...its funny there is an old song by a bad called whitesnake(some hair band in the eighties)...but the main point of the song was...dont know what ya got till its gone" and I think that in life we don't appreciate a lot of things until its either gone or too late

Yes I think that way about my husband all the time he only has 6 years or less to live and it always hurts me the thought of waking up in bed without him there.

Yes you can care very deeply about another person, which is why it's best to take it slow! Who wants to find themselves in love with a loser? You sound rather young? No, I wouldn't cry over a situation that hasn't actually happened yet?

My 1st. love from high school (Jeff F.), I've Never gotten over him, ( I moved to another state 1500 miles away),it's been 28 years and I can cry every day about it, Still. I'm truely heartbroken, I've been married 3 times and never loved them as I did him. I have tracked him ( & his wife) down over the internet. I'm too afraid to contact him, what if he didn't feel that way for me? Maybe that what really hurts me.(?)

Yes, all the time. I think a lot of what if's about my boyfriend and son. Like "what if they get an an accident?" when they are on the way to Grandma's house..........or I wonder what my life would be like if my boyfriend ever left me, and that can bring me to tears......or sometimes I wonder"what if my boyfriend died, or I died, or we both died, how would my son's life be without us?" I hate thinking like that!

Yes, I do. I'm in love with other person now and we are not together for already 4 years, but I still think if something happens to him, part of me will die either.

Yes, my son and my husband. With my son I have cried when he has gotten hurt really bad and was in a lot of pain. With my husband it would be from watching a sad part in a movie (I cry at the sad parts of many movies) and I'd think of what if that happened to them.
