Awww the same thing happened to me on monday! I'm a freshmen and I just asked kids their name and would they like to eat lunch with me! But just try being yourself, and in no time you'll have people fighting to sit with you!
Good Luck

I don't know what to say since I have spent all my high school years in the library during lunch (yes I'm a nerd, I know). But things will work out don't worry about it, even I find people to sit with when I do go to lunch. If you see someone sitting at a table by themselves or in a corner or something (trust me there's ALWAYS an outcast) don't be scared to approach them. Just ask if you can sit with them, the rest will work out by itself. You might just make a new best friend, you have no idea how many friends I've made that way.

Well you will have classes before lunch so you can get to know new people in those classes. If you have trouble finding someone that has lunch with you before lunch, just go to lunch and find a table that has a couple of girls sitting there that look nice, not too snobby and ask them if you can sit there. They will likely say yes. I did that on my first day of high school and the girls that i ended up sitting with were actually sophomores. I ended up hanging out with them alot that year. They ended up being my best friends.

Just be outgoing, i am sure you will know someone in your lunch period, if not, it is a good chance to make some new friends. After the first week of school you will already have a normal table to sit at and some new friends. It will be fine
good luck

Talk to people in your classes---chances are a lot of freshman will be in your shoes so you'll find someone. If your school has an open campus you can go out to lunch for the first few days until you get to know people...Good Luck

Meet new people, dont worry you will. Think about how many new kids come each year as well, this year will be no different they wont have anyone to sit with either, so take advantage of that too. If you go in worrying, you'll never make it past that. Go in with confidence and it will be alot easier to deal with and meet new people. Good Luck!

Look that's just something you'll have to deal with. You can't change their schedules.
