The tiger would most definitely win... tigers are much larger and more powerful in the wild than lions... the lion's strenght comes mainly in numbers and it usually takes about three to take down a single antelope, but the tiger who is solitary and blends in better with his environment can take down the same antelope by himself... the tiger is also faster and stockier in build... so i think the tiger would win in a fight...

The Lion would win on dry land, more brute strength. If for some reason the two ended up in the water the Tiger knows how to maneuver in the water so it would be a toss up to me as to whom would win.

It could go either way. On the average tigers (400-700lbs) are larger than lions (330-500lbs).
In the wild these cats would never encounter each other (tigers are asian, lions are african).
