Considering your written and spoken English is a second language then I commend you for writing well.
I would like to see Americans or come to think of it ANYBODY who is not of your country write and speak your language this good.
I am British I am married to an American we live in the UK. I love America and most American people, but there are some I despise with a passion. They can be self centred, never wrong, and sometimes down right rude. Back these people into a corner and they start spurting the bible because they don't have the intelligence to think of something that came out of their own heads.
Don't think all Americans are like this because they aren't. Just the bad pennies making it look bad for others.

I obviously can't answer for everybody else, but I WILL answer for me. When you say "I hate American", it sounds confrontational which usually gets people riled up. If they are mad already, they are going to pick on anything they can think of that will get you just as mad as you made them.
I would tend to think that you don't really know any normal, everyday Americans. All you believe of America is what you see on TV surrounding politics, this stupid war, and all the world violence. Normal Americans don't spend their days that way. We have jobs, and families, and spend our time, thoughts and energies taking care of those things. We are fun loving people, who really want everybody everywhere to be able to live in peace. Most of us care very deeply about all the world problems, but are so overwhelmed with the gravity of it we don't know where to start to solve it.
I would recommend that you get to know some Americans. Personally. Talk to them individually. And please stop with the blanket generalizations.
I am an American. I'm not greedy. I share freely, especially the love of God. I don't hate you, it doesn't matter to me what nationality you are. And I don't think it's fair that you should hate me, without even KNOWING me!

If you are unsatisfied with America, then maybe you should rethink what you think about it. It seems to me that you are invoking hate like attitudes, and that doesn't jive in any country. Your English is picked on because Yahoo has spell check and it seems that you are not using it or avoiding and writing the words wrong on purpose. So think before you write, and Write out of Love and not Hate. Good Luck in the future!
And a note to others, Yahoo is all over the world not just America.
P.S. I am not an American but I am married to one.

Hey don't you make fun of people who speak wrong hindi? so don't take seriously if people make fun of your english. And one more thing people do have freedom of speech in this country but that is for expressing your views towards a political, economical or cultural situation. Not to make a racist comment. Also change your ID. because it will spread misconceptions about indians. I am an Indian student in USA and have experince of both indians and americans. Believe me Americans are not as you think. Additionaly if you think that bush is crazy show me a single leader in today's world who is not crazy. And after all this explanation if you think that all americans are bad to you may be it is you who is having problem.

You CAN say you hate Americans. But are you aware that there are 299,491,794 United States citizens and we're growing by 10s of thousands every week. That's a lot of hate for an Indian boy who doesn't even know me OR my neighbors.
I'm not greedy, son. I just want to earn a living and live my life with my loved ones in peace. I don't always agree with what my Government does and I make my opinions known to my elected officials. All I can do if they don't agree is vote for someone else next time.
Most Americans are generous and kind. I wish you'd come for a visit and maybe you'd see that for yourself.

well see here's the problem... you're calling every single american greedy and whatever else, which isn't true. It depends on the type of person they are. I guess it's true about most americans, but when you say that towards every single american, those who aren't the way you describe them could get mad. Instead you should say something like "i hate most americans" or "i hate greedy americans". Also, Bush doesn't represent the views of every single american so you can't blame every american when you disagree somehow with what Bush does.

The problem with you asking questions in regard to hating America is it offends people. This is their home, man. If somebody went up to you and started dissing your country or your house and home and telling you how much it sucked, you'd get defensive, too, right? You have to keep in mind that there are a lot of teenagers on the internet, too, and they're going to up and attack you. When you don't specify that you are from another country so your english isn't very good, please excuse, people assume you're one of the anti-americans actually living here. We do believe in freedom of speech, and that guarantees our own freedom to defend our homeland, even if it is only verbally. It's not a one-way street.

No, you shouldn't hate anyone no matter what they call you. Hate breeds hate. I pick on your English because you make fun of President Bush's grammar, when you can barely speak it yourself. Get a grip. So what if Americans are a**holes, at least we're happy ones.

you do have freedom of speech, bush probably is crazy. and you do need to work on your english if you want to be heard. the problem is we as americans do not all fit into the mold you have made in your mind. i work hard and save my money. im not a racist nor is my husband and we're not raising our children to be that way, which is some good advice for the parents of your country.

1) You're not an American, you're just some jackass who is pathetically trying to tear us down. Get over yourself.
2) You're a hypocrite (look it up - if you can).
3) Because you're too stupid to use the "check spelling" button, so you deserve to be laughed at.
4) How many people are immigrating to the USA? How many are immigrating to the pisspot you call home? Case closed.
