There are many phlebotomy programs around the Los Angeles area, as you might already know phlebotomist in CA must recieved CPT-1 or CPT-2 license form the CA department of health (DHS), therefore you must attend a program that is acceptable to the DHS, you can either go to http://www.naacls.org/ the The National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) website, go to upper left, find a program, then search for phlebotomy program in CA, all NAACLS program are acceptable to CA DHS, or you can go to the CA DHS laboratory field service website http://www.dhs.ca.gov/ps/ls/lfsb/html/phlebotomy.htm then go to approved phlebotomy training schools.
