ok, long story short..my ex of 2 year dumped me 3 months ago because he wanted to be single. well two weeks later he started dating a 15 year old (he's 17) and she lives 3 hours away.I haven't talked to him for almost 3 months. Im still upset about it. Today was my first day at school and we didn't talk or anything to each other. I acted like I wasn't upset about him breaking up w/ me, didn't look at him, and laughed with my friends. I was completely fine at school but when I got home I got really upset and started crying. I just want to get over him so bad. But seeing him did help me realize that I did make some progress. Do you think sooner or later we will talk or maybe he'll realize he made a mistake. I don't have any classes with him so I don't know how much I will see him but my school only has 1,000 kids..so it's pretty small! I just feel like I will never get over him or anyother guy will want me.

Forget about this loser. You will certainly find someone better.

It's a corny old saying - "Time heals all wounds" - but it's the truth. You will get over him. And you'll end up with someone ten times better. Everything happens for a reason. Don't hang around alone at home thinking about the past either. Get out there and live!

Since he's seeing a girl that far away, there will come a time when she's not available, and he'll get an urge and pick up the phone. Just check the CallerID box and let it ring. He'll try pulling a "remember those great times we had..." routine. No matter how many feelings you have left for this guy, don't let him use you. You're better than that!

You're handlng it very well actually. Of course you're going to cry, it takes a lot of energy to put up that front when your heart is still hurting. Let yourself cry just don't let him see it. In time you will get past this and that 17/15 year old 3 hours away relationship will be in a ditch in no time anyway. This does NOT mean that you need to take him back. You are not the clean up batter sister, be strong. It sounds like you are much too good for him and believe me, you will find a better boy friend. Don't let him make you feel like another guy won't want you. He doesn't get to have THAT control over you. He doesn't deserve it.

Always remember that you are one terrific person and no matter how anybody else feels about you one day the right one will come along. Your just going through that phase and we all have been there.
I remember when I fell in love back in 1979 and I knew for sure Judy was the one for me. We dated for a whole year and then I decided to join the Air force and two months later it was gone. It was the hardest love in my life I ever had to understand and honestly to you I say this with my truest heart, I never got over it for a very very long time....it's like 20 years later, I realized that I had to let it go.
Love is nothing to play around with and it is very difficult to live without it much less with it and that is why I am single today. So my heart goes out to you and my best answer to your question is give it time.

If you could fast-forward your life a few years, and look back on this time you would realize how relatively insignificant it was. You may not think so now, but you have many important events ahead of you, including possibly attending college and meeting other people, learning new things, getting a job, maybe even relocating to another city or town. In time you will recover from this heartbreak, and you will learn from it. Really.

You will get over him. You have to be willing to do that though. He obviously didn't really want to be single because he has a new gf, he just didn't want to not be single with you. The 3 hours away thing kind of leaves him single and not single at the same time though. Honestly, you'll get over it and find another boy. Happens to all of us and we all get on with our lives just fine.

You will get over him. It may take some time, but you will do it. You will have many boyfriends and be able to choose the one you want. So quit worrying so much.
