I want to use my brand new sump pump for my pond the pump would be running 24/7

IF it's brand new, take it back for a refund. Sump pumps are not continuous duty pumps and will not handle a filter. My pond pump has run 24/7 for 5 years. It handles my filter and water feature. Example, A mini van will pull a 20 ft camper, but for how long?

Until it breaks.
Only the manufacturer can tell you that. Is it a continuous duty pump?
Call the manufacturer, search for the specs on-line or get a general reference from someone that runs their sump pump in the same conditions as yours.
Without the manufacture ratings the answer you get is going to be a guess.
