I don't know what all that was but God does love Satan. He is our Heavenly Brother just as Jesus is.
Satan is the one that started the war in the pre-existence and got 1/3 of the Heavenly Host cast out of Heaven. If you read Jobe. Satan went to
God and ask permission to test him and God told him yes because he knew how faithful Jobe was. God is Satans Father just as he is ours. Satan torments us because we fought on the side of God against Satan.
We won the right to come to earth and receive bodies as Satan and his followers lost theirs. That's why they don't want us to know the truth and turn back to God and obey his Laws so we can return again to him in Heaven. Satan can never go home again so he does his best to keep us from returning also!! He knows each of us just as God knows each of us and will use our weaknesses against us! That's why it's important to stay close to God and Jesus!

let's review the theories about GOD and SATAN...
everyone (well almost anyone) would say god hates satan for betraying him... remember he created all beings (big and small) and angels too... satan (lucifer) was one of his archangels, in fact almost the best angel until the seven deadly sins overpowered him and thus, led his banishment from heaven and into hell.
now, GOD, they say is all forgiving. in this manner, would he forgive satan for betraying him? if yes, why punish him and still wage war against him? didn't GOD say, "thou shalt not have any strange gods before me"? and "thou shalt worship me above all"? and that he himself am a jealous god? (come to think of it, does this mean he is guilty of jealousy - one of the seven deadly sins? if so, then he is imperfect GOD after all).
now if God doesn't forgave satan, does it make him less than a god? remember, he said love your enemies. what you do to others you do unto me. so if he hates satan, he hates himself too? (hey, i'm kinda lost. which is which here?) also, his notion of being an all-forgiving GOD gets "lost in translation" too...
truth is, like you i'm lost (and i'm still a Roman Catholic by faith and heart. i still go and attend mass and sunday services). but what i arrive at opinions and views, my summarization and conclusion, is this.... we can never know the truth about GOD and Satan for that matter. in the end, when all is done, come judgment day, lo and behold shall we see his purpose, his intentions, his goals.... for that matter, i intend to take it as it is, never insistent on my analysis, never persistent being taken in, but living the lord's messages as it is....

I don't love either God or Satan. God is a tyrant who lies about there not being anyother gods so we will worship him, and Satan is a lie cooked up by God's followers so people will want to worship him.

specific he does. God loves all and sundry of His creations. He additionally loves each and every person, completely and hence the two, which comprise people who reject Him and His grant of eternal happiness, and decide to spend eternity aside from Him in Hell.
