I could have sworn is was Sil-mar-il-ion.
Been awhile since I read it though.. I'm gonna have to go look again :P

Silmarillion. One of those words that's hard to say five times fast. There's a guide to Elven pronounciation in the Appendices of Lord of the Rings (at the end of Return of the King).

It's Silmarilion pronounced sill-ma-rill-ee-on, accent the rill.

i think you've misspelled it. :)

The Silmarillion
say it the way it's spelled with the accent on the second "i".
