While it is possible to prove that something does exist, it is generally NOT possible to prove that it does not exist. You might be able to develop a theory and provide evidence to support your position, but that is not proof.
But be careful. If the King of the Leprechauns sees your post, you might just get proof that they DO exist. Not that anyone else will believe you though... ;)
