The only time I ever saw Bambi killed, it was a feature short film with Bambi eating grass with music playing in the background and without notice Godzilla's foot enters the screen and steps on Bambi. That was many many years ago.....

Bambi is a movie. Not a real event. No fawn/deer or "Bambi" was killed in sync with that movie.
