you dont give away exactly what you eat. as someone already said, muscle weighs more than fat.
To reduce fat you ought to have not more than 60g carbs per day, thats 20 for any cereal, 20g bread portion if you have bread (that roughly equals 2 slices wholemeal) and 20g rice. You need to replenish the body with vitamins however, you dont have to have all the proteins and vitamins all the time for every meal. vary what you eat in a healthy way.
The bottom line is, that if you burn what you eat, you won't put on weight. if you burn more than you eat, you will lose weight. DRinking 2 litres of water speeds up the metabolism process and flushes the system so that you remain regular. Do not eat at night when the body naturally slows down and prepares for bedtime, this will almost surely be converted to fat. Sugar is bad in that, if you dont burn it off, it will be converted into fat, as is ANY food you eat in excess of what the body requires per day.
Eat fruit as snacks if you need to snack, cause this helps you remain full, and have less of a need to eat unhealthy snacks. make sure you have sufficient protein, soya is exceptionally useful, more protein on average than meat, and, not even a fraction the fat! eat fish instead of red meat, or chicken with no skin/fat. most of all, make sure you eat smaller portions and that you are happy with your new lifestyle, so that you dont feel a need to regress. good luck :-)

Losing weight is a science not an art. It is a chemical reaction to either lose or gain weight. People always talk generally and never tell you EXACTLY WHAT TO DO!

Ok... here's the key to losing weight.

1. Take Hoodia Gordonii and an ephedra free fat burner in the AM. Wash it down with a slim fast shake
2. eat 200 cal. between Breakfast and Lunch (Power bar will do it)
3. Take ephedra free fat burner for lunch wash it down with a slim fast shake.
4. eat 200 cal. between Lunch and dinner
5. Take Hoodia Gordonii and Seroslim (or another good Seratonin regulator) with Dinner (eat a sensible small dinner.)
6. 200 Cal snack between dinner and bed

The Seroslim is to get rid of the night cravings
Hoodia is so you don't over eat
Take Sunday off and eat more normally

Make sure to walk or run 3 times per week for 20-30 minutes
You will lose 3 lbs+ per week

The most natural and healthy diet for humans is an omnivorous diet, and not a plant based diet, or a meat-based diet per se. The Paleo Diet can be very widely varied and omnivorous for the most part, but the most important thing is that it’s unprocessed, and avoids the worst foods that agriculture brought mankind… refined inflammatory vegetable oils, refined grains (some are worse than others), and sugar! Learn here https://tr.im/ZNo5e

As you can see, the benefits of adopting a Paleo way of eating can be incredible! I’ve been eating 95% Paleo for the last 5-6 years and I’ve never felt better. I have dozens of friends that have adopted a more Paleo way of eating too, and have seen all sorts of health problems disappear, including eliminating acne and other skin problems, digestion problems, improving brain clarity, and of course, losing a lot of body fat!

This is a very boring task but it works. Buy yourself a weight watchers / slimmers world book (about £1) and write down everything you eat for a week, as a male you should not be exceeding 2500 calories per day, ( i believe this is based on someone who usually does half hour of exercise per day)some days you might find your a little under and some a little over but gross it over a week, it does tend to be more accurate. These books can also encourage you to find a healthier option.

Adelle Davis has a good chapter (7) in her book 'Let's Get Well'. I found the South Beach Diet to be helpful.
CLA sometimes helps people who are stuck (see Beyond Pritikin by Louise Gittelman)

(CLA = conjugated linoleic acid)

Chek out the Paleo Diet too.

You don’t need to exercise for hours on end. Short, sharp sets of exercise will produce better results in case you work hard. Get a omitting rope, skip for two moments, do push ups for one minute, skip for two minutes, rest for one minute. Then change the push up to something else like sit ups and also do the set again. Repeat it five times and it’s a simple, effective workout that will get better results than a long operate or swim.

You don’t need to exercise for long periods of time. Short, sharp sets of exercise will produce better results when you work hard. Get a missing rope, skip for two minutes, do push ups for one minute, skip for two minutes, rest for just one minute. Then change the push nearly something else like sit ups and do the set again. Repeat it five times and it’s a fast, effective workout that will get better results than a long run or swim.
