Find out how many quarts are in a gallon. If, for example, it is 4, then will know that a gallon of water is generated/used every 2 minutes. So multiply the number of gallons by 30 (for how many times a gallon of water will be generated/used in an hour) and you have your number. For the 60/mph, find how many feet are in a mile. Then take that number, and divide by 60 (for the number of minutes in an hour). This is your answer.

2qt/min to gallons per hour. There are 4 qt, in a gallon. 60 min. in one hour. 2qt. per min. for 1 hour = 120 qt. per hour. 120 divided by 4 because you are doubling the amount = 30 gallons per hour.

A car going 60mph will travel 5280 feet in one min, or 1 mile.

well i can try to help a little if you are using two quarts per minute then you are using 1 gallon every two minutes. so you would go through 30 gallons in an hour by my calculations. but i don't remember how many feet are in a mile so i can't help you there.

first one
multiply per 60 so you get qt in one hour
=120qt/60min=120qt/1hr
now divide 120/4 so you get gallons that is 30
30 gallons in one hour
2ND
60mi in one hour divide by 60 so you can get minutes
that is 1 mile per minute
