my mother all way show favoritism towards my brother.
everytime me and my brother fights (fist fight) she alway's jumps in to pertect him, even tho he's 3 years older than iam... so i though that that was only happening to me. but than i later found out it was happning to my best friend also, and a lot of my other friends.
i just wanna know, do women favor boys most?

Lots of families are like this. It's because of what's called "male prerogative". Men have all the power in society so women think of their sons as a step up for them. No matter all the "you've come a long way baby" crap, men still have it better in this life. Of course, this just means that your brother will probably grow up to be an irresponsible ****** who can't wash his own socks.

There is no real answer to this because it could be the other way around you could be 3 years older than your brother and ya'll could get into a fist fight and she would jump in and protect you. I believe it all depends on the persons mind if you and your brother are the only children she has and he's the first born maybe she just has more of a relationship with your brother cause she's been with him longer. Like I said there is no real answer it all depends on the person.

I think this is a perspective thing. I find that my wife treats both of our children (oldest male, youngest female) eqully but different. Each child has different needs and abilities. And should be treated as an individual no matter the gender. I grew up in a house with no sisters, so that I could not give a fair perspective from my family.

no, all women do not favor boys. It might be because your brother is older, and the first born. It may even be that she was so used to him that when you were born it was hard for her to stop favoring her once only child.

i'd desire a woman, then 2 twins ( the two with diverse genders) and a splash lovable boy on the tip :) lady- Valerie Ann (13 years previous) Boy- Sami Joseph ( 10 years previous) lady- Samara lauren ( 10 years previous) Boy - Adam Nathaniel ( 2 years previous) the reason i desire 2 women is so as that they might relate and communicate and function relaxing as sisters and a similar with th brothers; have relaxing, motor vehicle stuff, soccer ..etc.. and that all of them have relaxing jointly

yes they do it's mommys little boy and daddys little girl dads favor the girls and mothers favorite sons don't know why but it always turns out that way i have no idea why so just get over it and to make her favor you try to create a bond

I have the same problem. It's true mothers do favor the boys most. My friends to have the same problem.

They usually favor the older child. Sometimes if they are Momma's boys they will get special treatment. It will pass as you get older I promise.

My mom was the same way, though my bro was younger...can't say what I do 'cause I have 2 boys...
