why r some people habitual liars n continue to lie when caught up..even if it hurts someone?? know any liars r u a liar???

I was a very bad liar when I was younger, yes. I felt very bad about myself and always had to lie. Somebody who was my friend finally said something to me about it one day and said they just didn't want to be my friend because it was just too hard. Luckily, I really liked them, and they started to help me say only the truth from then on. It was very hard for me, but now people know that when I say something, it *is* the truth -- no more lies for this woman. For many, many years.

I've done sales and customer service for the last 6 years. In that time, I've tried very hard to avoid lying to customers. It really does just come back to haunt you in a position like mine anyhow.
But, I have to tell you, customers lie all the time about almost anything. They'll lie to get you to go away or to give them another quote or manipulate you into a better price or get you to do a return on a product they used, or to cover for a lie they go found out in, etc, etc.
People just lie. And I mean all the time. It's just an unfortunate fact of life.

constantly lying is habit. like smoking. its hard to quit when u've done it so much and for so long. ppl who are 'habitual liars' must have gotten that habit from someone else. parent/friend/someone close to them. ORR
this person is insecure and doesnt want ppl to know the truth about them... its kinda hard to relate insecurity to habitual lying but i think u'll get the point

With some people, they can't help themselves. Others, lie because they think it will get them out of trouble. I don't lie because it is too hard to remember what I have said and to whom.

i dont lie.. i hate it when i am lied to.... i try to ignore people when i know they are lying...they are stupid... and have nothing better to do with there lives then to hurt others.. its like it makes them happy or something...
