I don't think things like putting your pants are were ever invented, it sort of just happened. I don't know who invented pants, a case of social evolution more suits this topic. From leaves, to hides, to cloth, etc....
I'm more interested in who invented underwear, I haven't worn a pair in years, don't see the reasoning behind them. However I can't lie, I have been in a few spur of the moment awkward situations - like trying on pants for the tailor, or when I ripped my pants terribly . . .but whatever, nothing like being a true commando!

How far back and to where this dates is truly something I have never before contemplated....more the question would be, why fret when you can don a dress, or a gown...and they have as well been worn by men....I haven't a clue. But, I know why the rivets are on Levi Strauss....I know why the caged bird sings...I dont wear jeans....but your mind is very interesting.....could I store a few crates in it as I am moving?

his dangler was showing but he didn't want to wear a skirt. He had to ride horses and run through brush, so he wrapped his legs in deer hide, along with his crotch. His wife decided to make it all one piece.
