Even if he did not say Saddam was linked to 9/11, GWB said Iraq had WMDs and harbored terrorists. Both lies. Of course NOW Iraq is crawling with terrorists that hate the USA. Thanks to GWB.

And why go into Iraq now, and forget about Osama (Bush: "I don't really think about him much.") if he wasn't trying to link Iraq to 9/11?

>> maybe because we know that sadaam trained and bankrolled terrorists. >>

We gave Saddam money and helicopters back in the 80's. Rumsfeld was over there shaking Saddam's hand in 1983.

psst... we also trained Osama's boys and gave him money and weapons too!

And what terrorists that Saddam "bankrolled" were the ones that attacked the WTC?

thats easy!!!! because Iraq is VERY rich with oil, Bush WANTS that oil. But can't very well just go in Iraq and GET it on his own!! For 2 reasons, he doesnt have the man-power and 2, the world would see him for the evil sick, sadistic moron he is!!! so what better way to get lots of stupid, trigger-happy yankees to invade another country and steal their oil than to make an attack in these trigger-happy yankee's own home soil to stir up some hatred for Iraq??

Its just like if I wanted my best friends husband, I couldnt just barge into their house and tell her "Im taking your husband" Ill get another woman to be caught with my best friend's husband so that she divorces him! Then Ill act like her friend and convince her to leave him and when its done and over with, I go sink my claws into the man and turn my back on my best friend completely.

He tried to convince? It'd be good if he actually tried to convince - all of a sudden after 9/11, we go to war with Iraq. Nobody even bothered to explain to me...

"....after that horrible day, our country was more united than I have ever seen it. *And*, we had the world behind us. George W. Bush had an opportunity to lead us into a new American century, and instead he hijacked 9/11 for his own political purposes, to reward his base, and alienate the rest of the world."

That's it in a nutshell

He's not. He's never said that. Listen to his speeches not liberal pundits/editorialists talking about his speeches (or conservative ones for that matter).
