People don't find them attractive. I think it's rude, most overweight women i've seen are beautiful except for their weight.

overweight women don't get alot of attention because guys are brainwashed by the media and they think that thin women are better, when there really not. Some plus size women are really pretty but have a little extra weight.

Overweight women do get attention but mostly the negative kind. Our society links anorexic, skinny looking women as beautiful and healthy. So when people see larger women they taunt and laugh at them.
My father is attracted to larger women and I know many college students who are into that as well. It really depends on the person's preference.

They are overweight and most people find that unattractive, so they choose not to talk to them or give them attention. Just because of their weight which is sometimes there own fault, and sometimes not. It is not fair to the overweight person, because they are human and they are beautiful on the inside, and outside as well. But just because they are not a supermodel, they get overlooked and don't get the attention they sometimes deserve.

People just have different tastes is what it boils down to, and a lot of that is influenced by the media...fat is definitely not fashionable. What it really comes down to is a guy's taste, some like skinny girls, some like average girls, some like bigger girls. And looks matter more to some people that others, I really think that people who tend to be more superficial can't help it, that's just what "does it" for them, and that shouldn't be a problem as long as they don't insult others!

Most people don't like the image of overweight people. Being overweight sends the message that you don't care enough about yourself to keep your weight under control.
People equate being overweight with being lazy, excessive eating, unclean bodies, lack of self esteem, ect.........
We are constantly bombarded by imagies of skinny people and most people consider this is the way you should look. This started back in the "60's" with the appearance of "Twiggy"!!

they do.... its just not positive attention. if ever in a subway or public face look at the other passengers and their reactions when different people walk in. when a skinny woman attractive woman walks in their may be a couple of glances and smiles towards her but when a fat woman does she gets alot of stares and whispering.

They do ..by those men that like bigger gals...lots of 'em do...and admittedly. Depends on the guys taste.
They don't get (much) in the fashion industry though..because they feel their clothes look and "hang" better on a tall thin girl..
