Go for it! i sell my paintings on ebay, they do sell slowly, but if you are very good then they should sell great! Advertise worldwide, espec in states as they seem to love this stuff - all of my customers have been American. I am completely unknown and one lady loves my stuff, she always buys any new rottweiler prints i sell! see you don't even have to sell your originals, just a top quality print. I sell mine for about 10 bucks each, 5 pounds, not sure what that is in euros. check my link for an example. Good Luck!

I'm in the process of doing the same thing. I went to art school straight out of highschool back in '97, and thought it looked like a good way to earn a few extra bucks while doing what i enjoy most. I have looked under self-representing artists, and the prices vary so much based on what type of picture it is, size, medium used , and if you are registered. I would just try to list a few paintings or drawings at a reasonable price and see what they go for, and then base future price decisions on the success of the first listings. Goodluck!!

People certainly do list original art work on Ebay. I don't know how many are sold. Here is a quick search of paintings by original artists. You can check the prices. If you have an Ebay account you can search "completed items" and do a little market research to see what is selling, how often and at what price. Good luck.

I would say try a few of what you think are your best works and see if they sell. I think the price depends on the work. Is it a painting on canvas? If so it might sell at 25 euros if it's good. If it's a pencil drawing on a piece of sketch paper that's probably too much.

You're already had some good advice, so all I will add is to urge you to get a good, sharp picture to illustrate your auction - no dark, blurry cell phone pictures! People will not buy art if they can't get a very good idea what it looks like. Good luck!

Absolutely! A lot of people buy what they LIKE not just something with a known name on it. Somepeople only buy "unknowns" just in case they become known.
