Who would Jesus bomb? Yeah, who would Jesus kill?
The double talk is past surreal
The word of god is now the word of hate
War is peace, and freedom is the police state
Can't you see the writing on the wall?
Democracy lays trampled on the floor...

You better believe that...
Hell yeah I'm confused for sure what I thought was the New Millennium is 1984!
Mr. Orwell from the grave, adding fresh ink to the page
As the unpresident declares an endless war...
Welcome to 1984!

Feels like Nazi Germany, and Hitler on TV,
As the unpresident spews homophobic speech
Didn't the Allies fight an war to end extremist fascist law
So tell me NOW what the **** are we fighting for?

I just can not take it anymore
Democracy lays trampled on the floor...
Man, isn't freedom great?!?!

Hell yeah I'm confused for sure!

Is that the best answer you could come up with mr. anti-liberal? You have to accuse me of doing drugs because you can't think of anything else to say?

State power is only effective as long as those subject to it "believe" in it. The state has no power except what we grant it. Its power is derived from our willingness to give up our own power. Thus, the state's primary role is to instill in its subjects the idea that it is absolutely necessary, and that without it, life would be miserable and chaotic (like present-day Iraq, perhaps!).

You have to want freedom. You have to desire it intensely. If you want to be a prole (read 1984), that is your choice and your right. But if you want to be FREE, then it's time to wake up and ACT.

"If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face--forever." -1984

That is not the future I want.

(just heard that song for the 1st time - love it...)

Nobody is totally fee to do what ever they want. Mr Orwell was a great author but I think that no matter who you are you can put present happenings into books that have been written and really proclaim that author a seer. The only book that really holds the laws and future of the world is the Bible. When you can start putting todays happenings into Revelations writing then we have a problem. Then the Lord shall come down and we will have our trials and tribulations. Believe in the lord and don't worry about everything else God will take care of it.

One thing that I think is very important is that our nation was built on Christian beliefs and our President (although human and a sinner) is a Christian man. Bush has a very strong belief in his faith. Let him lead us and whatever God has planned will happen.

The first step for you start to regain your sanity is to turn off all the Micheal Moore book tapes playing in the back ground. You are screaming about democracy lost and yet all you all do is whine. If you want Social change, change it. Use all the hate and intolerance to every other view but your own and come up with a realistic platform, with achievable results based on that platform. But there in lies your problem, you are so busy saying how bad things are and spending zero energy to come up with a realistic, achievable goal to meet them. So Stop your crying and do something positive to fix what you believe is wrong.

The US hasn't been a free country since the Civil war when the federal government defeated both the states and the citizens.

Yes, freedom is great. Even if its a whiny emo-punk song written with sarcastic overtones.

You are free not to take it anymore. Its your choice. In all your confusion, just remember, you don't have to put up with it because you are free not to.

We better enjoy what freedoms we have now, because God forbids another 'bush' gets elected, we might as well all f off to Saudi Arabia. Women can all be covered except for their eyes, Us men can all start training to be fodder for war. God help us.. Freedom is great.
