It's not that they are hateful right-wing people.
It is that they are people, with a hate problem.
Who in turn find a right-leaning logic attractive to them.
Like nationalism and religious fanaticism.
It is used to conceal their true, human nauture, which feels hurt.
I was called hateful today by one of them.Sad.
The best defense:Redfine your values and share them.

Listen not all right wingers are feeled with hate. That's a media misconception and stereotype. Listen I'm not a right winger at all but there are some that are. Now the Left wingers are no different. They display thier hatred for Bush. I don't like them either by the way. And I don't trust them. Listen doesn't hurt to have a different perspective at all; becouse u maybe the one who solves the problem. But hatred is on bothsides and both right and left idealogues should share in the blame game on that one.

Have you seen the latest blockbuster? Like Star Wars, it's classic good verses evil - a power hungry dictator plotting to seize control of a goodly Republic. The twist is it's for adults. Ones who know reality is stranger than fiction. You guessed it! This epic thriller is actually your life, and it's called “The Fall of the Republic - Sleeping Through the Revolution.” Here's a behind the scenes look:
Bush Jr. came to power surrounding himself with far right “neo-conservatives” that his daddy called “crazies in the basement.”
Who are the crazies? A militant, anti-communist group of mainly Jewish intellectuals who studied the Trotskyite, Machiavellian political philosophy of Prof. Strauss at the University of Chicago. Wolfowitz, Ashcroft, Perle, Abrams, Chalabi, Bennett, Ho, Shulsky, Khalilzad, Schmitt, Kristol, are a few of the invasion architects, intelligence crafters, torture lawyers, Iraq ambassadors and U.S. puppets who studied under Strauss.
Together with Straussian devotees at neocon and pro-Israeli think tanks, they now control all powerful positions in our government.
What do neocons believe and want? They are anti-democratic, authoritarian, and they want power. Straussianism provides the intellectual framework and personal justification for their actions.

Hating someone and basing all your decisions on hate beats having to think. Much easier. Reflexive action, no need for messy discussion or that awful dreadful boring logic stuff. If you disagree with us, then you are a pinko or a terrorist or a whatever-it-is we are hating this week and we can then hate you too. So much more convenient than having to listen to what you say. So much more expedient to dismiss you as unpatriotic or disloyal and get on with stoning you so we can get back in to our wonderful cocoon of hate. Oh it feels so good to hate, doesn't it. You might even say it's lovely to hate. No matter, this is way too much analysis. Who do we hate next?

Right-wing people have fascist-style media leaders at this time.
Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilley, etc. are all foaming-at-the-mouth hate-filled incendiaries with cruel and exclusionary thinking. Since all of right-wing conservatives listen to these people, they become suffused with hate and spew it regularly, not even realizing how over-the-top and off-the-wall they appear to normal people.

Mainlly because they have no brain capacity to think outside of the box. They become frustrated like little children with Attention deficit disorder ---- hence their reaction. The brain becomes over-taxed.

try this buddy, go back to someone who hate you most and extend your hand. you will sure find the difinition to the word hate. you see time has elapsed so much, so many things has happened and changed that there's thousand and thousands of excuses you can make not to eat that beans on your plate. of course, you can put it on your poor dog's head. moreover, to be saint in today's world arena? you'll lose your audience.

Right wing people are a LOT more tolerant of all the bashing on tv and on these boards so I think you're just incredibly blind or should I say, close-minded and hateful than good conservatives.

My opinion: fear is at the root of hostility toward the viewpoint of others. If there was no fear or intimidation, then it would be like asking what your favorite flavor of ice cream is.
