the reason i dont wwant to go to a class is because my anxiety stems from encounters with people, especially in a quiet atmosphere, school and classes are a major problem for me, its just that i work better on my own and needed ideas in that area

I am stressed as hell too. I found that i should not listen to music that fuels my anger. I read to kinda escape my own brain. I write poetry to get my feelings down on paper and out of me. And i really like to separate myself from people so i don't blow up on them for no reason.

"Not going to sign up for any course or **** like that", sounds like you like to be stressed out or you would find the answers and be more open. Punching walls is from holding in like you stated, so why hold in? This will remain a problem until you take care of it. In the mean time take boxing classes or Brazilian jujitsu classes/courses or something. At least you will be in great shape until you deal with the anger and then maybe you will have a good healthy habit after wards. Sounds like a plan to me. Either way good luck to you, at least you are not punching people....yet.

Your anxiety stems from encountering people especially in quiet atmosphere huh...? Well...the best medicine is fight your anxiety....if your problem is meeting people then you should meet more people, sosialize and then you'll realize communicating with other people is not a bad thing after all....You need to have at least one good friend for you to be able to speak out your problem...whatever it is...it helps when you pour out your feelings...it's like you removed a heavy stone from your chest you know....I think finding a stress relief that involves just you is not going to work forever as whereever you go, you got to meet people. That's why we are born as humans with the ability to talk...use it.....

I feel you. I don't know if it the time of year or what. (Summer ending) I feel really out of place right not. I do take yoga at my local community center 1 night a week ( which I didn't go this week), but it totally relaxes me. I can't even sleep anymore there are so many things going on inside of me right now. I already take medicines for panic attaches, so maybe I could just ask my doctor to up my dose. I just don't want to have to rely on meds all my life. I was just thinking maybe I should go and see a therapist. If you come up with any good answers let us know.
Good Luck!

To relieve stress, I do the following:
1. Walk away from it! :)
2. Clean the house.
3. Go fishing.
4. Concentrate on something meaningless.
5. Play sports!
6. Write on blogs.
7. Read this book... Don't Sweat the Small Stuff!

Yoga is a great stress reliever. But if you haven't done it before you need to go to a class. It's difficult to learn from a book or a DVD. I recommend exercise for relieving stress... whatever you like to do... if you don't have a favorite activity, try several until you find one that you like. For me, it's running and hitting a heavy bag.
Good luck!

Take a kick boxing class, the way you'll not only get the exercise for your body, but you'll also release the anger in a constructive way. I also enjoy paintball games on occasions, afterwards I'm too tired to get angry.

This is not a joke. Go to your doctor and get some xanex or cloazapram. They are wonderful for extreme stress and they don't make you feel crazy like anti-depressants. Good Luck!

Meditation someone works for people...although, I never did get into that. I prefer to sit and read a book to calm down and just focus on 1 thing.
