Whenever I'm stuck in a traffic jam, I want one. Just for me. Not for anyone else.
When I was a kid growing up in the 50s and 60s, we really expected that by the year 2000 we'd all have flying cars, to say nothing of commercial rockets to Mars. While there have been lots of technical advances we never imagined (the Internet, for example), flying cars still seem as far away as they did when I was 10.

A car that could fly would be awesome, but I always thought it would be great to have a flying bed. That way you could just stay in bed & fly it to work..roll out and start your day.
