Does anyone find rap music annoying?

TOTALLY ANNOYING, i lsiten to anything but hiphop and rap,, they all sound the same, no style, i dont know what's so artistic about rapping,, very anoying, and causes headache:-)

More than annoying -- I've always hated it.

Twenty-five years of boom-chaka and foul-mouthed children's rhymes and it hasn't been able to dethrone rock and roll!

The WHITE KID who does his weight lifting every day and actually listens to his choreographer therefore makes the best videos and therefore sells the most rap -- it's an ugly truth that tells you how inane the whole "genre" really is.

The best thing about "rap:" It shows everyone the hypocrisy and favoritism of the women's movement. If you've got the right chip on your shoulder, you can call all women whores -- but only if you have exactly the right grudge on the politically correct shoulder bone.

The worst thing about "rap" is that it is profanity. Not vulgarity (the four letter words referring to sex and the human body) but PROFANITY, the making common (rap music) of something sacred (drum beats for sacred ceremonies). The Druids, as part of their rites for raising their priests to Bard, would beat drums and ask questions for which the posulent would have to answer by ad-libbing a rhyming response, sometimes while submerged to the neck in freezing ice water.

It's an ancient pagan sacred rite perverted into pop music.

And it's a trite copy -- it'll fall to the latin sound or international music or some new fad in a couple of seasons.

Yes sometimes Rap is annoying. especiallly the cussing.

But you did not say songs you said muisic. So I will have to go with some of the Rap song have a good beat which is kewl..But some is Junk...

I think it is like that with all types of music

I like some of the older stuff. It seems more experimental than what they have now - all the new stuff is kind of crude and so one note. Gangster, bitches..cap yo a** blah blah blah. How tired. No imagination.

Remember they used to get in trouble for sampling songs for parts of a rap song? Now people just swipe the whole damn song and "rap" some crap over it.

I think that rap does have a beat, but it isn't music. Music is something you can dance to, not just bop your head to and act like a pimp.

They're not very original either - many songs seem to have the same bassline and everything! Aggh. So annoying and stupid.

why do you think all rap music is annoying? thats making blatant assumptions with no research. hip hop or rap has been around for three decades if not longer. with that much music its obvious that your opinions are biased. you probably live in south dakota or something. and you are under exposed to other peoples music . dont believe everything on tv. research before you speak.

it's not annoying and it is NOT all the same. u just don't appreciate good hip hop and rap when u hear it. it's not only about listening to the beat and the words- it's about feeling the passion of the artist and understanding what drove them to write tha rhymes, whether it was love, hate, anger, or sadness. u hafta feel rap music and when u do, u'll see no two rap songs are the same.

I do..and I even enjoy rap music...but here in good ol Houston, Texas...everyone can't get enough of it..and yes it gets annoying...the same could be said if it was always country, or always rock...
