I have always and will always love Nintendo. It's what I grew up on and I always know I will love the games. Playstations seems over rated to me, and they don't have as good of graphics as they could. X-box mainly has games geared toward males and most of the are first person shooters which I find to be overrated, annoying and boring. Plus they are always WAY more expensive.
That and in the long run, PS's have the entire income of Sony behind them. X-Box has all the power of Microsoft. Nintendo is a bit of an underdog, but they are tried and true.

It will be the least expensive gaming system on the market
It will be able to download all the old Nintendo, Super NES, and all other games onto it.
It looks really nice
They have been working on the WII for quite sometime now - they just released the Cube to make a little more money -
The games are going to be very eye pleasing as well as fun - Zelda
The controler set-up looks weird and at the same time very advanced and fun
That is why I want to buy one -

The motion controller shows that Nintendo wants to change how you play video games. Take the DS as an example. Also, I'm interested in PAngYa for the Wii, and SSBB

It will have quality new games and you can download games from the complete librays for all old Nintendo, Sega, Dreamcast, and Turbo Graphix systems. The price is also a big factor.

I agree, it tries to give you a different gaming experience. Rather than 5 years down the line be playing NFS Underground 7 or something it gives you options to experience the motion of the game and a new set of reflexes, ones closer to actual motion and not button mashing. It should be a uniwue way to play games.
