I think he's good enough to be a top five player. That is reach the same heights as Rusedski and Henman. he already has an enormous serve. His new coach Brad Gilbert ( who coached Agassi) has resolved to put him on a fitness programme and asked him to gain a stone in muscle. Early indications suggest Gilbert is working well.
To summarise Murray has all the ingredients to be a top player and to win a "major" however the most vital factor is mental. Whether Murray has it in his head remains to be seen.
Henman had the ability to win 3 or 4 majors but he did not have quite that self belief.
Rusedski too had the game to win Wimbledon in the late 90s.

He is extremely skilled and he is very consistent and versatile. He has two flaws with his game, though. First, he is too small. he's 6'1, but only weighs 150lbs. Second, he is known as a very emotionally unstable player who isn't that smart when it comes to shot selection. However, since Brad Gilbert became his coach, he has been on a roll. Brad Gilbert is widely known as the best tennis player ever when it comes to the mental aspects of the sport. He was never a talented player, but he managed to be ranked in the top 10 by having great shot selection as well as taking advantage of his opponent's weaknesses. In other words, if anybody can help Andy Murray fix his mental problems, that person is Brad Gilbert. Also, Brad hopes that Murray can gain some weight, probably about 30lbs., which would put him at 180lbs. Once those problems are fixed, there's no reason why he can't be a top ten or even top 5 player someday in the near future. He's already going to be in the top 20 after this tournament.(He's currently 21st)

I would say Andy Murray is pretty darn good. If he has one major weakness I would say that he gets tight when he gets ahead in matches.

he is a discgrace to british tennis. if he wants to become a good player he needs to keep cool i meen wen i was watching him and henman every time he lost a point he would throw his racket down on the floor like a spoilt child unlike henman who does not have a tantrum when he messes up. i think it is just a disgrace
