Scientific notation and typical graphs don't really have anything to do with each other.

Scientific notation is a way of expressing a number that may be too big or small to write out, or in science to express the right number of significant figures.

A typical graph has y intercept and a slope.

all scientific notation is making a regular ordinary number more managable while doing mathematics.

instead of

0.00000000000027 it is 2.7 X 10^-13 power

AND

345000000000000000 is 3.45 X 10^18 power
