How many times have we heard President Bush and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld tell the troops that if they die, if they return without arms or legs, or blinded, it is for "liberty," for "democracy"?
One of the effects of nationalist thinking is a loss of a sense of proportion. The killing of 2,300 people at Pearl Harbor becomes the justification for killing 240,000 in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The killing of 3,000 people on Sept. 11 becomes the justification for killing hundreds of thousands of people in Afghanistan and Iraq.
And nationalism is given a special virulence when it is said to be blessed by Providence. Today we have a president, invading two countries in four years, who announced on the campaign trail last year that God speaks through him.
We need to refute the idea that our nation is different from, morally superior to, the other imperial powers of world history.

no because these objects are all man made & none of them are worth a damn, the bible is just a man written book to control simple minded sheeple, the constitution means nothing as our govt no longer honors it & as far as the flag goes im cherokee so it really has no signifigance to me. the only things i would define as terroristic is harming people or blowing up stuff or burning buildings, you know things that cause terror & as far as your rights go really you have none. you as well as everyone else are subject to the whims of others, especially the govt who may decide to do whatever they want to you. lets take the unconstitutional assaultwpn ban clearly it & the other 29000 plus gun laws are directly against the second amendment which states the right to keep & bear arms shall not be infringed but i guess everyone is soooo ignorant they dont understand infringed

Why do u want to burn the flag of any country, or America for example ?
And that too, why with a religious book, whether it is bible, koran or gita ?
You may not be a terrorist, because you are not killing any one by doing that !
But you are hurting some one's sentiments by doing that !
Dont think of it, cleanse up your mind of such negative thoughts !

I take it you mean a replica or reproduction of the Constitution and not the original from the Library of Congress?
Then, by all means, buy those items and burn away! Just make sure you do it legally. You can't burn them just anywhere.
You see, even irrational people like you are free to express your mindless babblings in this great country!

Your action will prove you are other things undesireable in a country where freedom and self responsibility are closely guarded. But that action on its own does not make you a terrorist.
Oh, and try that action in an Islamic terrorist suppoting country and see what happens to you.

no you're just an individual that understands the rights that people fought and died for. but since the constitution is a very important historical document, the FBI might show up at your door for destruction of government property, unless it's a photocopy that you're burning.

No, terrorism is trying to destroy the infrastructure of a country. Burning a flag and some papers has nothing to do with this.

I don't think you're a terrorist unless you condone or pull off a terrorist attack... as long as by "burn" you don't mean make a bomb out of to kill civilians in a public place... then no, I don't think you're a terrorist...
