you can use them for smithing - to make a silver helmet or something else when you have enough skill. you use them at anvils.

If you have a high enough crafting lvl i believe you can make silver jewelry items. If not then you can sell them for high prices.
There is no armor you can create with silver. I think you may have mixed that up with Steel.

you can make a tiara, if you have a tiara mould.
